OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma City Warriors, proud members of the NA3HL, announced Friday the signing of forward Jon Sproule for the 2026-27 season.
Sproule, 17, heads to Oklahoma after spending last season with the Houston Jr. Aeros 16U AA.
“Jon has a competitive edge that immediately stood out to us,” Assistant Coach Artem Lantukh said. “He’s a smart forward who plays with purpose and isn’t satisfied just being on the perimeter. We like the way he approaches the game, and we believe he’s going to bring a lot of energy to our lineup.”
The 5-foot-11 forward skated out in 20 games with the Aeros last season, logging five goals and a team-high 10 assists, finishing third on the team in points overall.
In the 2024-25 season, the Saskatoon-born forward logged 20 games with the 16U Aeros, registering three goals and five assists.
Sproule joins Ainsley Forsyth, Gavin Smith, Nicholas Gormish, Jesse Mismash, Ben Craft, King McDougall, London McDougall, Collin Springer, Fox Dial, Tyler Miller, Keeghan Middleton, Luke Jordan and Sean Biebrich as announced signings for the 2026-27 season. Stay tuned for more signings as the offseason progresses!
The Warriors begin the season at home on Friday, Sept. 11, taking on the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from Blazers Ice Centre is set for 7 p.m. CST.
