WARRIORS ACQUIRE FORWARD CARTER KELLEY FROM TULSA

Jul 23, 2026

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma City Warriors, proud members of the NA3HL South Division, announced Wednesday the acquisition of forward Carter Kelley from the Tulsa Oilers in exchange for one 2027 tender, one 2027 third-round draft pick and cash considerations.

Kelley, 17, split duties last season between the Tulsa Jr. Oilers 18U AA and the NA3HL’s Tulsa Oilers.

“We’re excited to welcome Carter to the Warriors organization,” Assistant Coach Artem Lantukh said. “As an Oklahoma native, this is a great opportunity for him to compete close to home, and we’re looking forward to seeing him take another bite of the apple in the South Division while making an impact in OKC.”

In 14 games last season with the Jr. Oilers, the Tulsa, Oklahoma native logged two goals and four assists, adding one goal and one assist in 15 NA3HL games to his season total.

Kelley and the Warriors begin the season at home on Friday, Sept. 11, taking on the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from Blazers Ice Centre is set for 7 p.m. CST.
