OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma City Warriors, proud members of the NA3HL South Division, announced Tuesday the acquisition of defenseman Hunter Bauer from the New Mexico Ice Wolves in exchange for one 2027 tender.
Bauer, 19, spent last season with his hometown Ice Wolves, logging three goals and four assists in 43 games.
“We are excited to welcome Hunter to the Warriors organization,” Assistant Coach Artem Lantukh said. “He brings size, South Division experience, and a strong two-way presence to our lineup, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll make this season.”
Prior to beginning his junior career, the 6-foot-4 defenseman spent the 2024-25 season with the Maine Jr. Mariners 18U AAA, logging one goal and nine assists in 78 games played.
Bauer and the Warriors begin the season at home on Friday, Sept. 11, taking on the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from Blazers Ice Centre is set for 7 p.m. CST.
